A woman named Yana has become the talk of the town for her extreme diet. She did it in order to achieve the sexy body desired by her husband.

She even starved herself for days on end, despite being extremely hungry. In the NTV Russia program 'Beyond the Border', Yana admitted that she has been consistently following a healthy diet since her college days.

Every day, she exercises regularly and limits her food intake. Due to psychological pressure, she then changed her diet.

Quoted from the Daily Star, the reason why the woman went on an unusual diet is because her husband often called her chubby-cheeked. However, instead of becoming slim, Yana became extremely skinny, with a height of 161 centimeters and weighing only 22 kilograms.

Aside from calling his wife fat, the man also limited Yana's social circle and forced her to quit her job.

After the wife's body became emaciated like a living skeleton, her husband didn't respond at all and instead left her.

"When I needed support from my husband, he didn't give it to me. I was left alone, even though I gave up everything for him, but in the end, I understand that I am to blame for all of this. I don't blame my husband or my parents," Yana said.

Nutritionist Marina Makisah, who was also present at the event, was shocked by the woman's story. She said that Yana's body has been consuming itself.

Seeing Yana's extremely concerning condition, she was then taken to the hospital and is currently under medical supervision. The woman is reportedly receiving treatment in Nizhny Novgorod and undergoing counseling therapy.
