Moment Couple Accidentally Records Child Being Swept Away by Waves, Initially Thought it was a Joke when Shouting for Help

Initially, the video shows a man and a woman spending leisure time on the beach. They can be seen chatting while enjoying the waves in the ocean.

Then, two boys pass by them and greet them. “Not swimming, huh?” one of the boys asks the couple.

After greeting the couple sitting on the beach, the two boys then run towards the ocean to swim. The couple didn't pay attention to the child who wanted to swim because they thought he was used to playing on the beach and swimming in strong currents.

“We ignored them because we thought they were beach kids who were used to swimming and knew the rules of swimming in the beach with strong currents,” they wrote in their video.

After a while, the child was carried further away by the current. However, the couple hadn't realized it yet.

They heard the child's cries for help twice, but still didn't notice. It was only on the third time that they heard the little child's scream for help.

Nevertheless, they still thought the child was just joking. Moreover, the couple couldn't see clearly towards the child because it was too far away.

When one of the children shouted for help, they immediately called the lifeguard to rescue him. Around 3 lifeguards jumped into the sea to save the child who was swept away by the current.

Due to panic, the woman in the video cried because she felt guilty for not forbidding the child from swimming. However, fortunately, the child who was swept away was successfully rescued and safe.
