Not Xenia, Daihatsu's Best-Selling Car at the Moment

Dream - During the GIIAS 2023 event, Daihatsu claimed to have achieved positive results in vehicle bookings. Based on their internal data, there were 1,203 units of Vehicle Booking Letters (SPK) recorded.

This achievement also increased by around 17% compared to GIIAS 2022 last year, which was 1,030 units. As for the most popular Daihatsu model during GIIAS 2023 this year, it is Sigra with 311 units or contributes around 25.9%, followed by GranMax Pick Up with 188 units (15.6%), Xenia with 156 units (13%).

Then followed by Terios with 154 units (12.8%), Ayla with 116 units (9.6%); Rocky with 112 units (9.3%), and other models such as GranMax Mini Bus, Sirion, and Luxio with a total of 166 units (13.8%).

It is known that Daihatsu Indonesia opened the second semester of 2023 with retail sales reaching around 578 thousand units, an increase of 6.1% compared to the same period in 2022, which was 545 thousand units.

In line with the increase in the national automotive market, Daihatsu recorded positive retail sales achievements, with more than 117 thousand units, an increase of around 10% compared to the same period last year, around 107 thousand units.

From these achievements, Daihatsu's retail sales contribution to the national automotive retail market share is 20.4%.

In terms of volume and model contribution, Daihatsu's retail sales during the 7 months of 2023 are still dominated by the top 3 models, such as Sigra with 37,688 units, or contributes around 32%; followed by Gran Max PU (Pick Up) 25,313 units (21.5%); and Terios 15,880 units (13.5%).
