However, free tickets for the first three months during the soft operation period are only intended for certain segments of the community.

Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi stated that people who are eligible to receive free KCJB tickets will be prioritized for figures and communities living around the Jakarta-Bandung Fast Train.

These segments of the community can register independently starting from August 1, 2023.

Ministry of Transportation spokesperson Adita Irawati added that free tickets for the Jakarta-Bandung Fast Train will also be given to influencers, observers, communities, and journalists. These professions are chosen because they can help socialize KCJB to the wider community.

"The main thing is that we see who can help socialize KCIC, including media friends, influencers, observers, and communities," she said.

Although currently limited to certain segments of the community, Adita said the possibility of adding criteria for eligible users to receive free tickets will be discussed among related policy stakeholders. In addition to the Ministry of Transportation, the parties that will discuss it are the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment, the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, and KCIC management.

"That will be determined together later..... so it will be determined together," she said.

This indicates that the KCJB, which is still in the trial phase, has very minimal vibrations even though it travels at a very high speed.

"This train is very fast and has minimal vibrations, so that a 500 rupiah coin can stand perfectly without using glue," wrote the former Mayor of Bandung.

Not only its sophistication, the appearance inside the fast train also attracts the attention of the public. Starting from seats in the form of sofas, making it more comfortable than ordinary trains, to its very modern interior design.

Kang Emil, as he is familiarly called, hopes that the sophistication of this fast train can be experienced by the wider community in August 2023.
