Passenger Mistakenly Pays with Riyal, Motorcycle Taxi Driver Feels Like He's in Saudi Arabia

This can make someone confused when making a payment transaction. Like what happened to a motorcycle taxi driver in a video uploaded by the Tiktok account @aftha_family.

In the video, a man in Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi, shows two banknotes given by a passenger he just dropped off.

He said that the fare for the passenger's motorcycle taxi should be ten thousand rupiah. However, it turns out that the passenger paid him with a larger amount.

It is not intentionally giving more payment, it is suspected that the passenger paid with mixed-up money. Because one of the brown-colored money is a Saudi Arabian currency worth 10 riyals.

"The fare is ten thousand, but he paid with 5 thousand rupiah, the same as Saudi Arabian money, this is King Salman's money," he said.

At first glance, the money shown by the motorcycle taxi driver looks like two Rp5,000 banknotes, so it seems to amount to Rp10,000 according to the fare. 

However, if the 10 Saudi Arabian riyals are converted to rupiah, it is around Rp39,700. Because he received riyal currency, he felt like he was riding a motorcycle taxi in Saudi Arabia. However, it seems that he has no intention of making the money his collection.

After being uploaded, this video went viral on social media and has been watched more than 2.5 million times. Not only that, this video also received various responses from netizens in the comment section.
