Special Services and Facilities Program for Gojek Drivers

Dream - Gojek, which is an on-demand service platform from the GoTo Group, recently announced the success of the Gojek Swadaya Program. This program, which has been built since 2016, is a flagship program that provides special additional access for driver partners who collaborate with third parties.

Various companies have become Swadaya Partners. They range from telecommunications companies, automotive companies, and workshops or other vehicle support providers.

The Gojek Swadaya Program has provided three main pillars for Gojek drivers, namely planning, protection, and reduction pillars. Gede Manggala, Head of Region and External Affairs at Gojek, said that the Gojek Swadaya program has even helped partners reduce operational costs by up to 15 percent.

"In line with Gojek's three strategies in 2023 to continue to be the flagship on-demand service of the GoTo Group, Gojek Swadaya is an integral part of the long-term strategy to support driver partners. With Gojek Swadaya, driver partners receive many benefits for themselves and their families," said Gede Manggala during a media gathering event with Gojek partners at the Gojek Pasaraya Blok M Gedung B Office, South Jakarta on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.

For 7 years, the Gojek Swadaya program has successfully implemented several programs. These include providing savings programs and affordable mortgage financing access, vehicle maintenance discount programs, cheap internet voucher and quota packages, as well as insurance protection programs focused on assets, health, and accident protection. This program also provides educational scholarships for the children of drivers to study vocational courses at certain polytechnics.

During Ramadan, Gojek Swadaya presents the Ramadan Bazaar to buy affordable basic food packages, Swadaya Mudik with various discount vouchers for transportation, and Ramadan Social Service activities. This is in line with Gojek's key goal of continuously maximizing the economic impact in Indonesia by improving the welfare of driver partners and reducing income inequality.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Elite Squad Community in Jabodetabek, Bang Herman, admits to receiving a lot of assistance from the Gojek Swadaya program.

"I feel that the impact of the Gojek Swadaya program is quite significant because it can save operational expenses. Usually, I use the Swadaya workshop package for routine motorbike maintenance to ensure the engine is safe when serving customers. I also use the Swadaya pulse package, Swadaya basic food package, Swadaya meal package, and others," he said.
