Having a habit of giving alms brings peace to life. It doesn't always have to be a large amount, giving alms with sincerity and solely for the sake of Allah SWT will bring multiple rewards and blessings.

Alms not only benefit the giver but also the recipient.

Indeed, there is no obligation regarding the amount of alms. However, there are times when we have nothing to give in charity even though we really want to.

When experiencing this situation, it is recommended to recite the following prayer.

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُوْلِكِ وَصَلِّ عَلَى اْلمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَاْلمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَاْلمُسْلِمِيْنَ وَاْلمُسْلِمَاتِ

Allahumma shalli 'ala muhammadin 'abdika wa rasulika wa shalli 'alal mu'minina wal mu'minati wal muslimina wal muslimati.

Meaning:

"O Allah, bestow blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad, Your servant and Messenger, and bestow blessings upon the believing men and believing women, the Muslim men and Muslim women."
