Dream - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) revealed an increase in the volume of BCA mobile banking transactions during the first two months of 2023, reaching over 3 billion transactions.
In other words, these transactions grew by 54.4 percent year on year (YoY). In the same period, the volume of internet banking transactions reached nearly 800 million transactions.
Meanwhile, the value of BCA internet banking transactions reached Rp2,797 trillion and BCA mobile banking reached Rp1,016 trillion.
This means that during the first two months of 2023, each grew by 13.4 percent YoY and 36.0 percent YoY.
This is in line with the "banking from anywhere" concept, which has now become a new standard for banking operations and activities.
Therefore, BCA projects an increase in the number of transactions before Eid al-Fitr also in the BCA digital channel.
The President Director of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, Jahja Setiaatmadja, said that the company is committed to providing the best service, especially during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.
"We also focus on ensuring the presence of secure and reliable transaction banking platforms, as well as relevant solutions for customer needs," said Jahja.
During Ramadan 1444 H, BCA also adjusted the operating hours of its branch offices until 2:30 PM local time.
Nevertheless, BCA remains ready to serve customer transaction needs 24 hours a day through the available digital services in the myBCA application, BCA mobile, KlikBCA internet banking, and BCA Deposit-Withdraw ATM network.
As for services leading up to the Eid al-Fitr holiday, BCA ensures the availability of cash amounting to Rp69.48 trillion to meet the needs of the community.
Compared to the amount prepared during last year's Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, this amount has increased by 10 percent.
"All of our services during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr are a manifestation of our commitment to providing service excellence to all customers so that they can transact safely and comfortably," said Jahja.
He hopes that their readiness to meet cash needs during Ramadan can support the circulation of money in society and drive national growth.
