Initially Suspected of Stealing Charity Box, Unexpectedly His Azan Voice Astonished the Mosque Congregation

This can be seen in a social experiment video uploaded on the YouTube channel Azan Santai. In the video, a man is seen wearing a worn-out shirt and pants. His left hand even wears a patterned cuff resembling a tattoo.

His appearance made him suspected of stealing the charity box by a man in the mosque he visited. The man even called his friend to come to the mosque.

However, he managed to prove that he was not a thief. He even impressed the people who were suspicious of him.

Upon entering the mosque, this man then asked if he could recite the zuhur azan in the mosque.

Initially, the man who was already in the mosque doubted him just because of his clothing style. However, in the end, he allowed it on the condition that he wore appropriate clothing, namely by changing his worn-out pants with a sarong.

Unbeknownst to him, the melodious voice of the azan by a man who was initially suspected of stealing amazed the congregation of the mosque.

After the azan, he revealed that he had previously studied at one of the pesantrens (Islamic boarding schools). Then, they performed congregational prayer in the mosque.

After performing the congregational prayer, they talked and apologized to each other for suspecting the man who dressed like a thug. In fact, he was offered to become a permanent muezzin and was encouraged to come to the mosque more often.
