Sheikh Ziauddin is a representative participant from Indonesia who has touched the hearts of the jury with his melodious voice in the azan competition and recitation of the Quran in Saudi Arabia.

Sheikh Ziauddin has brought honor to Indonesia and has been able to compete with dozens of the world's best muezzins.

Now, Sheikh Ziauddin has advanced to the top 8 and is striving to qualify for the top 4. The event is broadcast live on the MBC television station.

The native son of Meulaboh, Aceh, is one of the 32 participants who have made it to the next stage.

Prior to this, Sheikh Ziauddin had defeated around 50,000 contestants from 165 countries around the world.

Initially, Sheikh Ziauddin participated in the competition by submitting his azan voice through an online registration link provided by the committee.

In a post on the Instagram account @info.updatee, Sheikh Ziauddin can be seen reciting the azan beautifully and with deep emotion.

The entire jury was captivated by the performance of the alumnus of Al-Azhar University, Egypt.

The melodious voice of the azan recited by Sheikh Ziauddin successfully made one of the jury members shed tears.

This certainly made Indonesian citizens proud, especially considering that this competition went through a very strict selection process.

There were also many positive comments about Sheikh Ziauddin's performance, giving him encouragement to advance to the next round.

For your information, the prizes to be won in the competition are not insignificant. As reported by The Siasat Daily, a total cash prize of 3.3 million US Dollars or equivalent to 49.7 billion Indonesian Rupiah will be distributed to each winner.

Meanwhile, the winner of the azan competition will receive a prize of 534 thousand US Dollars or equivalent to 8 billion Indonesian Rupiah.

Furthermore, the first place winner of the Quran recitation competition will receive a prize of 800 thousand US Dollars or around 12 billion Indonesian Rupiah.

The jury will evaluate the participants based on their best performance, intonation, emotional expression, delivery of recitation and azan with humility towards the listeners. The announcement of the participants who qualify for the top 4 will be made in the middle of the Ramadan month.
