There is a Toll Discount on the Java Island to Sumatra, Note the Schedule

Dream - The Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) will provide a 20 percent toll rate discount during the 2023 Eid homecoming for 5 toll roads, namely 3 toll roads on Java Island and 2 toll roads on Sumatra Island.

Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) also welcomes BUJT's initiative. Ministry of PUPR spokesperson Endra S Atmawidjaja said that the discount is an effort by the government to reduce traffic congestion during the Eid homecoming and return flow.

"We hope that this toll rate discount, which has been offered by toll road operators, can be utilized by people who have the flexibility to travel earlier or return later," said Endra as quoted from Merdeka.com, Monday, April 17, 2023.

The discount is given to help alleviate traffic flow at the beginning and end of the Eid holiday period without compromising the quality of toll road services.

Here is the schedule of toll road sections that provide discounts:

- Jasa Marga

PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk provides a 20 percent discount for the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road section as part of the Trans Java Toll Road and is valid on April 16-17 and April 27-29, 2023, from Cikampek Utama Toll Gate to Kalihurip Utama Toll Gate or vice versa.

- Hutama Karya

PT Hutama Karya (Persero) Tbk provides a 20 percent discount on the Bakauheni-Terbanggi Besar toll road section as part of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road and is valid on April 16-18 and April 26-28, 2023, for all vehicle classes.

- Waskita Toll

PT Waskita Toll Road also provides a 20 percent discount through its subsidiary, PT Waskita Sriwijaya Toll (WST), and is applicable to all vehicle classes on April 16-18 and April 27-29, 2023.

- ASTRA Infra Toll

PT Marga Mandalasakti (ASTRA Infra Toll Road Tangerang-Merak) provides a 20 percent discount for the Tangerang-Merak toll road section and is valid on April 16-18 and April 27-28, 2023.

- Cibitung Tanjung Priok Port Tollways

PT Cibitung Tanjung Priok Port Tollways also provides toll rate discounts for the Cibitung-Cilincing toll road section from April 14-30, 2023, with discounts of 15 percent for Class I vehicles, 44 percent for Class II and III vehicles, and 58 percent for Class IV and V vehicles.
