True Love Story: Wife Declared Dead After 30 Years Missing, Faithful Husband Waits, 86 Years Old Reunited

Dream - A woman who was declared dead after being missing for 30 years has finally been found alive. 

Named Patricia Kopta, she is now 83 years old. Patricia was last seen in 1992 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At that time, the police were investigating the circumstances of her departure.

The woman was known as an eccentric street preacher who used the name 'Sparrow'.

Apparently, during her disappearance, Patricia lived in a nursing home. She suffered from dementia, so she doesn't remember where she came from.

Patricia's husband, Bob, said they were married for 20 years before his wife disappeared.

After his wife was found, Bob admitted to feeling relieved knowing that Patricia was not killed.

“It's truly relieving to know that she's not lying somewhere or killed somewhere,” he said.

Bob added that his family suspected the woman was in Puerto Rico but was declared dead about 25 years ago.

The retired electric technician also said that he had consulted a psychic about his wife's whereabouts.

He admitted to experiencing depression for years when the woman disappeared.

However, at the same time, he couldn't deny his gratitude knowing that his wife was still alive and being cared for.

“After 30 years, I tried to forget her. Now I can forget her. We know what happened, and she's being taken care of now,” he said.

Previously, a mental health doctor diagnosed Kopta with 'grandiosity delusion' and said she showed signs of schizophrenia.

The police believed that Kopta fled the country out of fear of being institutionalized due to her illness.

It is estimated that she hid around the towns of Naranjito, Corozal, and Toa Alta in Northern Puerto Rico, specifically southwest of the capital, San Juan.

Her current condition prevents her from revealing what actually happened. Her secret life remains hidden without anyone knowing.

Her husband himself desperately wants to visit and embrace her to express his love. However, the woman no longer recognizes him.
