Viral Moment Mario Dandy Suspected Laughing When He Found Out David Ozora Still Can't Wear Pants

Dream - Mario Dandy, the suspect in the premeditated severe assault case against David Ozora, underwent another trial on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the South Jakarta District Court.

Several witnesses were presented in the trial, including David's father, Jonathan Latumahina. In the trial, Mario Dandy was suspected of laughing when Jonathan revealed that David Ozora still couldn't wear pants by himself.

"Mario Dandy laughed when David's father explained that David still couldn't wear pants," wrote the video caption uploaded on Instagram account @unikinfo_id.

Jonathan Latumahina explains the condition of David Ozora who is experiencing amnesia and still cannot be independent.

"Until this second, he still can't take a shower, still can't wear pants," said Jonathan.

He explained that David Ozora still needs the assistance of a nurse for bathing and getting dressed.

"He needs help with bathing. We have a 24-hour home care nurse," he said.

Hearing that, Mario Dandy was suspected of laughing behind his mask, which was responded with a slight laugh by his lawyer.

A video clip of Mario Dandy laughing when he found out that David Ozora still couldn't wear pants went viral on social media. Some people criticized Mario Dandy harshly.

David's Disturbing Condition After Being Assaulted by Mario Dandy: Suffering from Amnesia, His Father is Called 'Mas'

Dream - David Ozora's father, Jonathan Latumahina, said his son suffered from amnesia after being assaulted by Mario Dandy in February 2023. David even calls Jonathan 'mas' (a term of address for older brother or older male friend).

Jonathan stated this while testifying at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. The judge initially asked about any changes in David's condition after the assault and subsequent treatment.

"Physically, his left shoulder is now lower, so it's tilted. Then the left side can't move as freely as the right hand, so he has difficulty showering and wearing pants because of that," said Jonathan.

He said David also experienced amnesia or memory loss. According to him, David calls him 'mas'.

"You said David has amnesia, so he forgot. What does he remember now?" the judge asked.

"Simply put, he calls me 'Mas'," Jonathan replied.

He said David has now returned to school based on the doctor's recommendation. According to him, the school is meant to help improve David's cognitive abilities.

"Since he has amnesia, can he keep up with his studies?" the judge asked.

"No, he can't, it's more about socializing. There have been changes, when his friends ask, 'Why is he like this now?'" Jonathan said.

"Do his friends also forget?" the judge asked.

"If they're close friends, he remembers, but when it comes to psychologists from KPPA (Child Protection Commission), because we also had psychological assessments, according to the psychologist, David's memory is gradually returning but the emotions haven't, the psychologist knows more," he said.
