According to the baby's family, it is very dangerous because the baby is very small and should be in an incubator, but instead had a photo session where there were many lights and various props. Shortly after the photo session, the tiny baby passed away. The family is not accepting this and is demanding responsibility from the maternity clinic. According to Cassie Clayshulte, a baby photographer, when seeing some cute photos with unusual baby poses circulating on social media, for safety and aesthetics, they are usually edited. When a baby poses for a photo, safety is paramount.

"We as photographers capture the baby on a safe surface, capture the props separately, and edit them together as a cohesive image," he said.

Clayshulte revealed that often, babies are positioned in a completely safe manner. For example, they are being held by their parents, and then the parents' hands are edited.

Avoid making poses with a bent head, it is very dangerous. "If the head is too bent, the baby will have difficulty breathing. There are too many pictures showing a baby with the chin stuck to the chest, making it difficult for them to breathe," he said.

Benjamin Hoffman, M.D., Chairman of the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on Injury, Violence, and Poison Prevention, also highlights the dangers of posting crowded baby photos on social media. Many poses that are thought to be genuinely done by babies can actually be achieved through editing and are not harmful. Taking pictures of babies in the recommended position by the AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics), which is lying on their back while keeping the baby comfortable. Unfortunately, this makes the photos appear cold and ordinary.

"There is a major problem in the way newborn baby sleep is depicted both in traditional media and social media, and this is very dangerous," expressed Hoffman.
