Dream - Every parent certainly wants their child to be successful. In addition to trying to educate them from an early age, another important thing is prayer. An effort will be more perfect when accompanied by prayer. Then, Islam also teaches the existence of tirakat, one of which is fasting for the success of the child. In Islam itself, tirakat is done through certain practices to follow the path of Allah SWT.

One important practice is fasting, which not only brings health benefits but also cultivates discipline and perseverance needed to achieve success. In addition, performing wirid, zikir, and other practices such as charity, giving alms, and doing good to others also play a significant role in shaping good character and attracting blessings from Allah SWT.

The important factors in achieving a child's success through practice and dedication. This includes sincerity and consistency in carrying out these practices, as well as awareness of the importance of making religion as the foundation in life. By consistently practicing and dedicating themselves, children can obtain goodness in both worldly and hereafter life.

Therefore, as parents, it is important to guide children in carrying out good deeds and spiritual practices so that they can achieve success in this world and the hereafter.

First, it is to maintain the blessings of wealth by ensuring that the income earned is halal (lawful). This is important because children will learn from the example set by their parents in living a life in accordance with religious teachings. Second, it is to regularly enhance the practice of fasting. Fasting not only helps in maintaining physical fitness but also enhances discipline and patience in facing various challenges.

Third, it is to maintain speech in order to always utter good and clean words. The words that come out of our mouths can influence the spiritual and mental condition of children. Lastly, it is to increase prayer and remembrance (dhikr) and pray for the safety and success of children.

According to the great scholars, these four tirakat are highly recommended because through this method, parents can set a good example and build a strong spiritual foundation for their children. Therefore, the children will grow up to be pious and successful in their lives.

First, provide enough attention to the child, both physically and emotionally, so that the child feels loved and cared for. Second, set a good example for the child, as children will imitate their parents' behavior. Third, set clear boundaries for the child so that they can learn about responsibility and the consequences of their actions. Fourth, listen to the child attentively so that they feel heard and valued.

"Finally, teaching children to say thank you as one way to show gratitude and appreciation to others. One way to teach children to say thank you is by setting a good example. That is by consistently saying thank you to children when they do something good or helpful."

Parents can also teach their children to say thank you by giving them rewards when they do so. By doing this, children will learn to appreciate others and become more grateful individuals.

رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنْ صَالِحِينَ
Rabbihab li min ṣāliḥīn.
Translation: "O my Lord, grant me from the righteous people."

رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي
Rabbij'alnī muqīmaṣ-ṣalāti wa min ẓurriyyatī.
Translation: "O my Lord, make me one who establishes prayer, and also my descendants."

رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
Rabbana hablana min azwajina wadhurriyatina qurrata a'yunin waj'alna lil muttaqina imama.
Translation: "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous."

Translated text: "Meaning: 'Our Lord, grant us from our wives and offspring comfort to the eyes, and make us leaders of the righteous.' Allahumma makkinhu bithaabitil qawiyyi fii sa'atil ghodzab. Meaning: 'O Allah, strengthen him with firmness during times of anger.'"

"O our Lord, send among them a messenger from themselves who will recite to them Your verses and teach them the Book and wisdom and purify them. Indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
