"Children become unsure of themselves. Parents, who should be relied upon, are inconsistent, making it difficult for children to have self-confidence. Emotions become messy or unstable. It's no wonder that children become easily angry, anxious, or even sad. Because they know that their parents' moods cannot be predicted," said Irma.

"Create rules that are easily understood by children. Don't forget to explain the reasons why those rules are important. Still, enforce the rules that have been made but avoid nagging," said Irma.
