Dream - Teaching children to fast is certainly a challenge for parents. Especially when it comes to getting them used to waking up for suhoor. Especially for toddlers who are still learning to fast.
Okin, a member of the OKAAY group and also Rachel Venya's ex-husband, has a funny way to wake up his daughter, Chava, for suhoor. He shared this on his Instagram account @okintph.
According to Okin, the way he does this makes his daughter wake up for sahur without any drama, let alone throwing a tantrum. Okin takes advantage of the high-pitched voice of Mimi Peri. "No crying, no tantrum. thanks @mimi.peri," Okin wrote in his post.
Mimi Peri is a content creator on social media known for her super funny videos and voice. Mimi's video is played by Okin on the phone and placed next to Chava's ear.
Mimi Peri directly mentioned Chava's name to immediately wake up for suhoor. Okin seems to have specifically ordered that video from Mimi to wake up Chava. "Suhoorrr, suhoor, suhoorr, Chava wake up for suhoor, Suhoor, Chava suhoor, wake up, come on Chava suhoorr," said Mimi Peri in the video. Chava appears to be very disturbed by the sound. This cute child who is sleeping soundly immediately moves when Mimi's video is played.
His face appeared to be struggling to open his very heavy eyes to find the source of the voice. Until he finally realized that the voice calling his name came from the cellphone placed by Father Okin on the pillow.
Chava also appeared resigned and opened his eyes because Mimi Peri's video with a high-pitched voice calling his name kept playing by his father. With a sleepy face, Chava finally woke up. He was then invited by Okin to immediately have a pre-dawn meal.
"Sure enough, Chava woke up and opened her eyes wide and followed her father to have pre-dawn meal. She immediately agreed when asked to do so before getting out of bed. 'Come on, let's go, tos! Let's go have pre-dawn meal,' Okin invited."
Video of Okin's unusual way of waking up Chava has sparked reactions from many netizens in the comment section. "@putriayni__ wrote, 'Just move out, Chava, if you can't handle it.' "@luthfianap_ commented, 'This is my biggest trauma.' @a.ariyanaaa responded, 'Every child's dream is to meet a fairy godmother, not Mimi Peri.' @bebebpio exclaimed, 'The power of Mimi Peri!'
