The distribution of report cards is usually done by teachers directly to parents. Unlike the usual distribution of report cards, at SMPIT Insan Permata, Malang, East Java, during the distribution of report cards, students will distribute them to their parents themselves, after they have presented the selected subject matter.

"In our school, we have been practicing Student Led Conferences for several years for the semester report card distribution. This program originated from concerns because students often became the third party during the report card distribution, where the teacher was the one distributing the report cards, and the student's guardian was the one receiving them. Where were the students? Sometimes, there were even those who had to wait at home to be praised (or scolded) for their grades," wrote teacher Risma.

"Let us return to its nature, that learning belongs entirely to the students. They have been the ones determining how they learn in class. They know themselves best. So let us train them to be responsible for their learning process for 1 semester," expressed Risma.
