Dream - Wudhu is usually performed by Muslims when they are about to pray. This is done to remove minor impurities, because when facing Allah SWT, one must be in a state of purity. However, wudhu is actually not only done when about to pray. But as much as possible, Dream's friends always try to maintain their wudhu at any time. Maintaining wudhu has special virtues for Muslims. One of them is being able to erase the minor sins that we have committed so far.

The first virtue of maintaining wudhu is resembling light. Where the wudhu water will resemble light on the Day of Judgment. The Prophet Muhammad said, "Adornments will shade the believer as much as the extent of their wudhu." The meaning of adornments here is the light on the Day of Judgment.

The next virtue is half of faith. As explained in a hadith narrated by Abu Malik Al-Asy'ari, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Purification is half of faith."

"Through ablution, it can erase minor sins. Considering that, throughout this life, humans will not be free from sins. The Prophet Muhammad said: 'If a Muslim servant or a believer performs ablution and washes his face, then every sin he has ever seen will come out from his face along with each drop of water or along with the last drop of water.'"

"If he washes both of his hands, then all the sins that have been done by both of his hands will come out along with the water, or the last drops of water. If he washes both of his feet, then every mistake that has been done by both of his feet will come out along with the water, or along with the last drops of water, so that he finishes in a state of cleanliness from sins."

Another virtue of always maintaining ablution is that it can elevate one's status. As the Prophet Muhammad said, "Would you like me to show you something through which Allah erases sins and elevates ranks?" The Prophet continued, "It is perfecting ablution in unfavorable conditions, taking more steps towards the mosque, and waiting for the next prayer after completing one. That is ribath (defending the borders of the Muslims), that is ribath, that is ribath."

Every Muslim certainly wants to be placed in the paradise of Allah SWT. In addition to carrying out His commands, Dream companions can also always maintain ablution. This method can be a path to paradise. The Prophet Muhammad once said to Bilal: "O Bilal, tell me about the deed that you hope for the most, which you do in Islam. Indeed, I have heard the sound of your two sandals in front of me in paradise."

Then, Bilal said, "There is no practice that I desire more than (the practice of) not performing ablution at one time, whether during the night or day, except that I perform the prayer with that ablution as much as is destined for me."

The extraordinary virtue that follows if one always maintains ablution is that it can bring one closer to paradise. The Prophet Muhammad said, "Whoever performs ablution and perfects it, then performs two units of prayer, focusing on both with their whole heart and face, they will surely attain paradise."

The last virtue of always maintaining ablution is that it can untie the bonds of Satan. As the Prophet Muhammad said, "Satan ties three knots at the back of one's head while he is asleep, saying to each knot, 'You have a long night ahead, so sleep.' If he wakes up and remembers Allah, one knot is undone. If he performs ablution, another knot is undone."

"If he performs prayer, then one bond is released, and he becomes an enthusiastic person, and his soul becomes good. If not, then his soul becomes bad and lazy."
