Dream - Still remember the case of a little boy falling into the gorilla enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo, United States? The 3-year-old boy named Isaiah Gregg fell into the gorilla enclosure while he was with his mother, Michelle Gregg.
In the widely circulated video, a silverback gorilla named Harambe can be seen 'dominating' Isaiah. Harambe quickly approaches Isaiah, who has just fallen into a ditch in his enclosure.
After observing the 'creature' in front of him, Harambe then dragged Isaiah as if he were a sack of rice. The gorilla, weighing over 180 kilograms, paused for a moment while observing Isaiah again.
A few moments later Harambe returned, dragging the unfortunate child to a shadier place. The giant gorilla was then seen gripping Isaiah's back before pushing him and walking away.
Because there was no other choice to save Isaiah, the zookeepers were forced to shoot Harambe. The zookeepers did not tranquilize Harambe because it was risky as gorillas take a long time to become unconscious.
The event that happened seven years ago was so sensational that it attracted the attention of many people. Not only the general public, but also environmental and animal lovers activists gave their attention.
The shooting of the 17-year-old gorilla has received criticism from various parties, especially animal lovers. Many believe that the silverback gorilla was actually protecting the little child with its embrace. The one who received criticism was not the zoo, but Michelle, the mother who was with Isaiah at that time. Michelle was accused of being the mastermind behind the zoo's decision to shoot Harambe.
The woman, who was 32 years old at the time, received bullying from all directions through various ways. Petitions, death threats, local harassment, and horrifying memes were used to express anger over Harambe's death.
However, this anger is misdirected and has been damaging Michelle's family life. She and her family have become afraid to use social media.
Michelle together with her partner, Deonne Dickerson, even had to 'hide' Isaiah and his siblings to keep them safe from disturbances.
While photographer Jeff McCurry, who is responsible for the viral Harambe photo, mentioned that the fault should belong to the zoo. He is deeply concerned about the safety of visitors who want to see the gorilla in its enclosure.

After being shot dead seven years ago, Harambe returned to the center of attention after a documentary film was made about him. The film titled Harambe was released on Sunday, September 24, coinciding with World Gorilla Day.
