Dream - People who are undergoing a test in the form of illness certainly bring sadness to their loved ones such as family or siblings. The same goes for friends or colleagues who will feel the same thing. In addition to seeking medical attention and taking medication, one thing that should not be forgotten is to pray for healing.
Prayer for healing from all diseases becomes a hope for Allah to restore someone's health as it was before. Diseases come from Allah SWT and can be cured by His power, so there is no other entity besides Allah SWT as a place to seek healing from diseases.
For Dream friends who are visiting a sick person, you can take a moment to pray for that person alone or together. The more people who pray, the hope for healing becomes more open. Here are 9 prayers for healing from all diseases as compiled by Dream from various sources.
Allahumma rabbannaasi adzhibil ba'sa isyfihi wa antas syafi laa syifaa'a illa syifaauka syifaa'an laa yughadiru saqaman.
Translation: "O Allah, remove the illness, grant healing, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, which leaves no trace of pain."
I ask Allah the Almighty, the Lord of the Great Throne, to heal you. Meaning: "I pray to Allah, the Great, the Lord of the Great Throne, to heal you." (Imam An-Nawawi, Al-Adzkar, [Damascus: Darul Mallah, 1971 M/1391 H], page 114).

In the Quran itself, there is also a prayer for the sick that can be recited by Dream's friend. The prayer is found in Surah Al-Anbiya verse 83 as follows: رَبِّ إِنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ Meaning: "O my Lord, indeed I have been touched by hardship, and You are the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy."
The opening letter in the holy book of the Quran and also recited in every prayer, namely Al-Fatihah, also becomes a prayer for the sick that can be read by friends of Dream. This letter has many miracles, one of which is the ability to heal the sick.
"Bismillahirrahmaanirrahiim, alhamdulillahi rabbil aalamiin, arrahmaanirrahiim, maaliki yaumiddiin, iyyaakana'budu wa iyyaaka nasta, iin, ihdinash shiraathal mustaqim, shiraathal ladziina an'amta alaihim, ghairil maaghdhuubi alaihim wa ladh dhaalliin. Amin. Translation: "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. Guide us on the Straight Path, the path of those who have received Your grace; not the path of those who have brought down wrath upon themselves, nor of those who have gone astray. Amen."
Only You we worship, and only You we ask for help. Show us the straight path, the path of those whom You have bestowed Your blessings upon, not the path of those who have incurred wrath upon themselves, nor the path of those who have gone astray.

Translation: "Allah, there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? The translation of the given 'Bahasa' text to 'English' while preserving any html tags is as follows: "Meaning: "Allah, there is no god but Him. The Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great." (Quran 2:255)."
Visiting the sick is one of the highly recommended things in Islam. It's not just about visiting, but also praying for them so that the illness in their body is immediately lifted by Allah SWT. However, it is advisable for Dream's friends not to forget to pay attention to how to pray for the sick properly. Here are the ways:
The first way to pray for the sick is to have the intention solely for the sake of Allah SWT. This is because praying for the sick is a good deed, so it is only right to intend it for Allah SWT and to seek His blessings and rewards. It is also not wrong for Dream's friends to bring a gift, such as fruits or cakes, to be given to the sick person or the caregiver.
Friend, it is best not to forget to mention your name first when visiting. Please state your name clearly so that the sick person knows who came to visit. This way, they will feel happy because someone came and cared about their condition. This method applies if the sick person is elderly or has weak consciousness.
The following is the translation of the text from 'Bahasa' to 'English' while preserving the html tags: "The next way to pray for a sick person is to sit near their head or beside their head position. This was also done by Prophet Muhammad. As narrated by Anas ra, he said: "When Prophet Muhammad visited a sick person, he would sit beside their head." (HR. Bukhari)"
"The next way is by shaking hands. This method was also taught by Prophet Muhammad during his lifetime. In addition to shaking hands, he also held the forehead or other parts of the body that were in pain. This treatment is a form of love and care from the person visiting the sick. As he said:"
"The perfection of visiting a sick person is when one of you places his hand on his face or hand, then asks about his condition. And, the perfection of respect among you is to shake hands." (HR. Ahmad and Thabrani)
The next step when praying for someone who is sick is to ask about their condition and illness. This is to show the care of Dream's friend to the person who is currently sick. After inquiring, you can continue by reciting a prayer for that person.
The last way is to entertain people who are sick. As we all know, people who are sick are usually overwhelmed with sadness and worry. Therefore, it is better for those who come to visit to entertain them in order to reduce the burden of suffering for the sick person.
Prayers to seek livelihood can be practiced by both wives and husbands.
