Japanese mythology tells the story of Tamamo-no-Mae working for a daimyo or influential official in feudal Japan.

Together with Tamamo-no-Mae, the daimyo planned to overthrow and kill Emperor Toba, who ruled from 1107-1123.

Regardless of the myth, the news of the splitting of Sessho-seki has become a hot topic among netizens in Japan.

Some express concern that the splitting of Sessho-seki is a bad omen for this already damaged world.

The splitting of this Killer Stone is also confirmed by the Nasu City Tourism Information Center in Tochigi Prefecture.\r\n\r\nHowever, local officials did not discuss the mythology and legends that surround Sessho-seki.

Batu Sessho-seki has long experienced cracks.

They actually revealed the cause of the split of the ancient stone that was considered terrifying. Sessho-seki was previously mentioned to have been cracked for a long time. Rain and low air temperature may have caused it to split.
