Dream - Cheating is one of the acts that is hated by Allah SWT. Where this act shows the nature of someone who is dishonest, unfair, and of course seeks personal gain. This act is very bad because it harms others. Even in the Qur'an, Allah SWT has warned about this cheating nature through the Surah Al-Muthaffifin. The consequences of cheating will be more severe in the hereafter. Therefore, the nature of cheating must be avoided.

The factors that cause cheating include pressure to succeed, low integrity, lack of ethical enforcement, and lack of awareness of the consequences of cheating. The impact of cheating is very detrimental, both for the perpetrator and the victim. For the perpetrator, the impact can include loss of trust, tarnished reputation, legal sanctions, and inability to achieve true success.

For the victims, the impacts can be in the form of financial loss, loss of trust, and feelings of injustice. Examples of cheating that often occur include cheating during exams, plagiarism in academic writing, bribery in the business world, and cheating in romantic relationships. The impacts of these dishonest actions can be felt in various contexts, ranging from education, employment, business, to personal relationships.

The importance of maintaining ethics and integrity in every action is very significant, because dishonesty not only harms individuals, but also damages trust within society. Therefore, the enforcement of ethics and integrity must be a priority in every aspect of life.

One of the verses that affirms the punishment for cheaters is in Surah Al-Mutaffifin, verses 1-3, which states: "Woe to those who give less [than due], who, when they take a measure from people, take in full. But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss." Examples of cheating behavior in human life include fraud, betrayal of trust, and embezzlement of wealth.

The consequences can be the loss of trust and reputation, as well as worldly legal penalties such as imprisonment or fines. However, the heaviest consequence for perpetrators of cheating is in the afterlife. The Qur'an clearly states that cheaters will receive severe punishment on the Day of Judgment. In Surah Al-Mutaffifin verses 10-12, it is mentioned:

"On that day, the sinners will suffer loss, they will be prevented from seeing the presence of their Merciful Lord, and they will be in severe torment." Thus, the Qur'an affirms that Allah strongly prohibits cheating and warns of very serious consequences, both in worldly life and in the hereafter."

Rasulullah saw said: "Whoever cheats (acts dishonestly), then he is not from my group." (HR. Muslim) This also applies to dishonest leaders. Dishonest leaders have characteristics and behaviors that are not honest and ethical in carrying out their duties as leaders. They may have backgrounds that influence their dishonest behavior, such as pressure to achieve targets, inability to manage conflicts, or lack of morality.

Concrete examples of dishonest behavior by a leader include manipulating data to cover up their mistakes, exploiting power for personal gain, or making false promises to their subordinates. The negative impact can be felt at various levels, ranging from lowering employee morale, reducing public trust in the organization, damaging team relationships, and affecting productivity.

As an example, a dishonest leader in recruiting employees can result in a team that lacks quality, lowers the overall performance of the company, and makes employees who feel unfairly treated become disappointed. As a result, this can lead to talent loss, decreased productivity, and damaged reputation. Therefore, it is important for a leader to have integrity and be a role model of honesty and ethics, as dishonest behavior can damage relationships and the overall performance of the organization.
