Dream - A viral video of an online motorcycle taxi driver escorting an elderly man who is carrying the body of his grandchild from RSUP Dr Tadjuddin Chalid Makassar. They traveled a distance of 53 kilometers from Makassar City to Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi. "I am escorting the body to Pangkep because I cannot afford the ambulance fee. They asked for Rp800 to escort it from Tajudin Hospital," said the motorcycle taxi driver in the circulating video.

Hasmayanti explained that the ambulance in the hospital is only for transporting patients who need to be referred to another hospital. As for the transportation of corpses, the hospital collaborates with a third party. She mentioned that the corpse ambulance is paid based on the distance traveled. When offered to the family, they could not agree due to cost constraints.

Hasmayanti admitted to regretting and apologizing for the incident. She ensured that RSUP Dr. Tadjuddin Chalid is committed to improving the quality of its services.
