Dream - The Honorary Council of the Election Organizers (DKPP) revealed that as the Chairman of the General Election Commission of Indonesia (KPU RI), Hasyim Asy'ari intentionally changed the KPU regulation (PKPU) regarding marriage rules for election organizers. In the revised rule, the prohibition only applies within the marriage bond with fellow election organizers.

On the finding, DKPP assessed that Hasyim did not uphold integrity as the Chairman of the KPU. In addition, Hasyim is also believed to have provided special treatment to the complainant since the beginning of the meeting.
