"Dream – Ganjar Pranowo coffee with truck drivers at the Limpung City Terminal, Batang, Central Java, Wednesday, January 17, 2024. He indeed has special memories with truck drivers from when he was still serving as the Governor of Central Java."
“Friends, this truck is interesting to me because there was an extraordinary incident in Batang, at the Subah Weighbridge in 2014, where someone entered the weighbridge and went on a rampage there because of illegal levies,” said Ganjar, as quoted from Liputan6.com. The presidential candidate with the number 3 said he immediately addressed the illegal levies at the Sabah Weighbridge so that the illicit practice no longer exists.
“Surprise, after so many years, I was approached by truck drivers in many places, from all over Java, they only conveyed to Mr. Ganjar thank you, now we in Central Java no longer have illegal levies at the Weighbridge,” said Ganjar. However, Ganjar mentioned that illegal levies still haunt the drivers, especially outside Central Java. Ganjar admitted he still receives information about illegal levies outside Central Java.
“Although it was mentioned earlier that there are still issues outside of that, they are becoming more solid in supporting the eradication of illegal fees, especially on the highways,” emphasized the husband of Siti Atikoh Supriyanti.
"Ganjar's statement was confirmed by one of the truck drivers. The driver said there are still illegal levies outside Central Java. “Alhamdulillah until now there is none (illegal levies in Central Java). Outside Central Java, there are still some,” said the driver."
"Through Instagram, Ganjar uploaded photos of his meetings with truck drivers. He also had the chance to sit behind the wheel of an orange truck. Ganjar's conversation with the truck drivers also appeared lively. Located in a small eatery, they enjoyed coffee while being served snacks."
"In the photo uploaded to Instagram, they appear to be laughing joyfully, there is no distance between Ganjar and the truck drivers."
