Dream - A father in China witnessed his 26-year-old son die after saving three people trapped inside a sinking car.
Zhang Keke is driving a car towards his workplace along the river in Jiangsu Province on October 28, with his father sitting next to him. They saw a vehicle plunging into the river and starting to sink.
Three passengers were seen screaming for help from behind the car window, according to China National Radio. Zhang, who was called to rescue the three people, immediately stopped his car. He then took off his clothes and jumped into the water.
His father, who cannot swim, called the police for help. After that, his father stood on the riverbank and witnessed the incident of the car sinking.
Not long after Zhang jumped, three other citizens came to join him. The four of them started diving around the submerged car area to search for passengers.
"Save People Instead Become Victims"
Zhang successfully saved 3 passengers but he himself drowned due to exhaustion. Seeing Zhang drowning, his father could only scream loudly calling his name until his throat became hoarse.
"The parents are still in deep sorrow and unable to speak. They cannot accept this fate," said a relative.

Relatives say they are also very sad and feel the loss of Zhang, who was willing to sacrifice himself to save others. "He was indeed the type of person who was always willing to help others," the relative reminisces about the deceased's character when he was still alive.
