“Later, every time there is an election, the positions equivalent to ministers increase; that’s five elections already, this country has too many ministers,” he emphasized. “Politics shouldn’t go that far. Well, it’s fine, if you win, you win, do it according to what is professional,” he added.

The former Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court explained that political movements are not limited to parties. They also involve civil society organizations and the mass media that have an agenda to direct state policies. “I am currently consolidating to rebuild democracy through civil society, which once thrived in unison,” said Mahfud.
