Dream - Blessed are those who can marry their first love. Some people are even willing to wait for years to be able to marry their first love. That's exactly what this man from China did, marrying his first love at the age of 86.
The man named Zhou Guilin married the woman he admired since college, named Yang Xiugui. A video circulating on social media shows their wedding held in a simple manner. One of the invited guests said that the wedding was held intimately and only had three tables.
The wedding was only attended by close friends and relatives, considered small according to traditional Chinese wedding reception standards.
One of the poems displayed as wedding decoration tells the story of Zhou and Yang continuing their interrupted love story.

Reported by SCMP, Zhou met Yang when they were both studying at Peking University. The two had been in a relationship during their time in school. Unfortunately, their relationship ended and they haven't seen each other for years.
After graduating, Zhou established Gaoping High School in his hometown and held the position of headmaster. It is said that both Zhou and Yang were already married.
