Dream - Lying is one of the acts that is strongly prohibited in Islam. In fact, every religion prohibits its followers from lying. This act not only harms oneself but also others. Therefore, if a Muslim lies, it will bring sin. Allah SWT said in Surah Al-Baqarah verse 10: "In their hearts is a disease, so Allah increases their disease, and they will have a painful punishment because they lie."

People who like to lie, their lives will not feel safe and peaceful. Because usually people who lie will continue to think about what they are hiding. In a hadith it is explained: From Abul Haura' As-Sa'di, he said: "I once asked Hasan bin Ali, 'What do you remember from the Prophet Muhammad?' Ali answered: 'I remember from the Prophet Muhammad.' 'Leave what makes you doubt towards something that will not make you doubt, indeed honesty is tranquility and lies are doubt.' (HR. At-Tirmidhi)"

The second response to people who like to lie is to hurt their feelings. Not only the hearts of those who have been lied to, but also their own hearts. By lying, they are already hurting their own hearts. In that way, they will feel unsettled. Allah SWT says in Surah Al-Baqarah verses 8-10: "And among the people are those who say, 'We believe in Allah and the Last Day,' but they are not believers."

"They deceive Allah and the believers, while they are only deceiving themselves without realizing it." "In their hearts there is a disease, so Allah increases their disease and they will have a painful punishment because they lie."

"The consequences of lying have a negative impact on your sustenance (rezeki). By engaging in this action, it can reduce sustenance and eliminate blessings. As the saying of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): "The seller and the buyer still have the option (to buy or not), as long as they have not separated, or he said, until they both separate."

"If they are honest and explain to each other, then they will be blessed in their transaction. If they hide and lie, then the blessings of their transaction will disappear." (HR. Al-Bukhari)

Angels are creatures created by Allah SWT who are very obedient to Allah SWT. How blessed it is if our lives are surrounded by these angels. However, dear Dream friends, you must be careful when telling a lie. Because it is this trait that can distance you from the angels. The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said:

Someone who is always honest and remains in honesty until he is written on the side of Allah as an honest person. Keep yourselves away from lies, because lies truly indicate to wickedness/sinfulness, and wickedness will truly lead to hell.
