Dream - Many celebrities of the homeland are running for the 2024 General Elections. Some of them are trying to run for the Indonesian Parliament (DPR RI) and Regional Representative Council (DPRD). There are also those who are trying to enter the Regional Representative Council (DPD). One of them is comedian Alfiansyah Bustami, also known as Komeng. This year, he is trying to advance in the DPD with the West Java Province as his independent electoral district.

Seen from the KPU Election Info page, Komeng is at number 10. On the voting day, Wednesday, February 14, 2024, Komeng went viral following the widespread uploads of netizens showing a photo of the comedian on the ballot paper.

They highlighted Komeng's photo that is different from the majority of the candidates. Most of them showcase their smiles with their gaze directed towards the camera. There are also those who appear serious in formal attire.

Meanwhile, Komeng, who is wearing a blue shirt, poses with a funny expression.

Not less highlighted is the movitas of Komeng. He wants to develop art in the West Java region, one of them is through comedy. Interestingly, at the end of the sentence, he added a hugging emoticon. "Wants to develop art in the West Java region in particular, in Indonesia in general. Through comedy to evoke happiness... 🤗," Komeng's motivation says.

Seeing his photo going viral on social media, Komeng spoke up. He thanked the citizens who voted for him today. "Thank you to everyone who voted for me today. It's quite an honor. Let's make the government system more amusing," tweeted Komeng.

Although he has a career as a comedian, Komeng also has a background in economics education. Based on his educational history, Komeng attended SD Negeri 4, Citeureup, Bogor.

Then in 1986, he continued his junior high school education at Taman Siswa Jakarta. After graduating from junior high school, he continued to Taman Madya IV High School. In 2014, Komeng enrolled as a student at Tribuana College of Economics (STIE). In 2018, he successfully completed his higher education.
