Dream - Litbang Kompas has released its findings regarding the Jakarta governor election in 2024. The results show that Anies Baswedan's name is still at the top with an electability of 29.8 percent.

Apart from Anies and Ahok, there are other names referred to by the public of Jakarta to become governor. However, those names are far behind the two former Governors of DKI Jakarta who obtained two-digit numbers.

Among them are former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil with a percentage of 8.5% and Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir with an achievement of 2.3%. Several other names with electability still at 1% include Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini, Acting Governor of Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono, General Chairman of PSI Kaesang Pangarep, Former Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces General (Ret) Andika Perkasa, and Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani who achieved 1.3%. However, in this survey, there are still 30% of respondents who claimed to not know or choose not to answer when presented with these names.

It is mentioned that the respondents were also asked about the potential for election and rejection towards the mentioned figures. The results, 39% admitted to definitely choosing Anies Baswedan, then 34.5% believed they would definitely choose Ahok.

Next, 24% of respondents also admitted that they would choose Ridwan Kamil. Regarding Erick Thohir, only 16% of respondents claimed that they would definitely choose the chairman of PSSI.

Meanwhile, respondents' confidence in choosing Sri Mulyani is at 10.3%, a slightly higher percentage than Kaesang, who only obtained a definite confidence from respondents at 9.8%.

However, when compared to Andika Perkasa, the confidence level of the respondents chose Kaesang higher. Andika only received 7.8%, Sri Mulyani 6.5%, and Heru Budi 2.8%.

Regarding the research method, this periodic survey by Litbang Kompas is conducted through face-to-face interviews and will be held from June 15th to June 20th, 2024. A total of 400 respondents will participate, selected randomly using a systematic multistage sampling method in the Special Capital Region of Jakarta Province. This survey has a confidence level of 95 percent, with a margin of error of approximately 4.9 percent.
