"Dream - Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army (Kasad) General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak inaugurated the Saturday-Sunday Camping (Persami) of Saka Wira Kartika Terpusat, at Cipayung Camping Ground, Jatinangor, Sumedang Regency, West Java, on Saturday, February 3, 2024."
In the themed event "United with Nature, Rehabilitation of Forest and Wetland Areas," Maruli invited members of the scouts to unite with nature.
Apart from aiming to improve participants' skills, this activity also reflects concern for nature, with the preparation of 7,320 plant seedlings to be planted on a 5-hectare land.
Maruli affirms that the Army will continue to support the tree planting program by involving the Scout Movement throughout Indonesia.
"Scouting is an important organization for the preparation of our youth, not only in terms of skills, but also in terms of knightly spirit and national insight,"

"He is also committed to continuously evaluating Scout activities, especially Persami, in order to improve the effectiveness of the training provided to the participants. Maruli hopes that this activity can continue so that Scout members can participate in planting programs throughout Indonesia."
Apart from tree planting and environmental cleaning activities, Saka Wira Kartika activities are also filled with public and social facility (Fasum-Fasos) improvement activities, as well as social service activities such as free medical treatment and distribution of basic necessities.
