“Thank you for the information that a KKA (Train Accident) has occurred between KA 350 Commuter Line and KA 66 Turangga,” wrote the Edan Sepur Indonesia Community Regional Coordinator 2 Bandung Raya, quoted from Liputan6.com. According to the information, the accident happened in the Haurpugur-Cicalengka section, around 06:03 WIB. It is not yet known if there are any casualties as a result of this incident.
Meanwhile, to the website ayobandung.com, the Public Relations Manager of Daop 2, Ayep Hanapi, confirmed the information regarding the train accident. According to information from Lintas Daop 2 Bandung, the collision occurred between two local trains, KA 350 (CL BD Raya) and PLB 65A (Turangga).
The accident occurred on Haurpugur Street, Cicalengka, West Java. Currently, Daop 2 Bandung is coordinating with the relevant units.
"Daop 2 has coordinated with Polresta Bandung, the Basarnas Office in Bandung, PMI Kota Bandung, and the Disdamkar of Kab. Bandung. This accident has caused residents to gather around the location."
"Meanwhile, the account X @jalur5_ wrote that the interesting vintage CC 201 locomotive used by the Bandung Raya Commuter Line has suffered severe damage and several train cars have derailed."
