Dream - Islam is not only a religion that discusses prayer and reading the Quran. More than that, there are many social practices that Muslims need to do as worship. In fact, social worship has a larger portion of evaluation compared to personal worship. One of the reasons is to encourage others to be more empowered. One of these practices is giving charity. Many people believe that charity is beneficial for the giver, including as a practice to prevent illness, reject calamities, and facilitate sustenance.
But if examined more deeply, charity contains much greater elements. In charity, there is an effort to help those who are less fortunate to be free from the burden of their lives. Donating food can help them from the torment of hunger. Donating wealth can become a means for the less fortunate community to strive for something for themselves and their families.
That is why social practices have a higher portion than individual worship, so Islam emphasizes these practices to be carried out. Of course, we want to gain Allah's pleasure from giving charity. Therefore, complete your practices with intention and prayer when giving charity as follows!
By giving charity, a person hopes for goodness from it. Among them is hoping for rewards from Allah SWT. The prayer of a person who gives charity will become stronger and more effective. The recommendation to give charity is conveyed by the Prophet Muhammad SAW in the following hadith: "Bring down (bring forth) your sustenance (from Allah) by giving charity." (HR. Al-Baihaqi)
I intend to approach Allah, the Most High, and to be conscious of His anger. I seek refuge in Allah from the Hellfire and from the punishment of the grave. I seek His help in supporting my brothers, showing mercy to the weak, and following the example of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. I ask for happiness and success for my brothers and protection from calamities. I spend from what Allah has provided me and seek protection from arrogance and the temptations of Satan.
It means: 'I intend (to give charity) to draw closer to Allah, to avoid the wrath of the Lord, to avoid the fire of hell, to show compassion to my brothers and maintain good relations, to help the weak, to follow the Prophet Muhammad, to bring happiness to my brothers, to reject any harm to them and all Muslims, to spend the sustenance given by Allah, and to overcome desires and Satan.'

"Ya Allah, I beg to You to make it easy for me to do good and leave evil, and I beg to You to be able to love the poor, forgive my sins, and shower me with mercy. If You want to test a community, then let me die without being drowned in the test. Ya Allah, I ask to be able to love You, love those who love You, and love deeds that bring me closer to Your love."
