Dream - South Korean YouTuber, Jiah, speaks up after going viral for being invited by a bald man to a hotel while she was eating alone. It was later revealed that the man was Asri Damuna, the Head of the Sangia Nibandera Airport Organizer Unit Office in Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi.
In the Instagram Story on Friday, May 10, 2024, Jiah expressed her gratitude to Indonesian netizens who were concerned about her and stated that she is currently in good condition. "I was surprised to see my video suddenly go viral on other social media platforms, thank you to everyone who has cared about me," said Jiah.
"Now I am safe and sound, so there's no need to worry! I will be more careful," she added. Jiah said she has read all the comments that came in the YouTube video column. However, she apologized for not being able to reply to all of those comments. She also asked netizens not to believe any TikTok accounts or fake accounts that claim to be her.
The spokesperson for the Minister of Transportation, Adita Irawati, confirmed that the man in the viral video is the Head of the Office of Airport Operators Unit of Sangia Nibandera Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi, Asri Damuna. However, Adita has not been able to explain further about the sanctions that will be given to Asri Damuna. Because, until now, Asri is still under examination.
Imposed Sanctions
"Yes, in an inspection by authorized officials at the Ministry of Transportation," said Adita. The Ministry of Transportation does not rule out the possibility of imposing sanctions on the employee if proven guilty of his viral action."
"If it is proven that there are violations, both in terms of regulations and ethics as civil servants. Sanctions will be imposed in accordance with applicable provisions," he explained.
