Dream - The General Election Commission (KPU) continues to update the real count data or vote count for the 2024 Legislative Election. There are a total of 18 political parties participating in the 2024 Election. Based on the real count results of the KPU for the 2024 Legislative Election released on the website pemilu2024.kpu.go.id, the total votes received until Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 12:45 PM WIB is 61.21 percent. The data is taken from 503,936 votes out of 823,236 polling stations (TPS).
The result, nine political parties (parpol) passed into the Parliament and exceeded the parliamentary threshold of 4 percent. PDIP still remains the party with the highest ranking in the 2024 legislative election with a total of 16.87 percent of votes. Meanwhile, Golkar Party received 15.12 percent, followed by Gerindra Party with 13.43 percent, and PKB with 11.8 percent.
As for the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), which is led by the youngest son of President Joko Widodo or Jokowi, Kaesang Pangarep, it has not been able to surpass the parliamentary threshold. PSI's vote share so far is only 2.55 percent.
The following is a list of 9 political parties that have qualified for the parliament based on the temporary real count by the KPU: PDIP: 16.87 percent Golkar Party: 15.12 percent Gerindra Party: 13.43 percent PKB: 11.8 percent NasDem Party: 9.4 percent PKS: 7.48 percent Democratic Party: 7.41 percent PAN: 6.93 percent PPP: 4.05 percent
"Previously, the survey institution LSI Denny JA revealed a number of political parties that failed to pass into the Senayan according to the quick count results. Among them are the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), Hanura, Perindo, and Gelora."
The following political parties were unable to exceed the parliamentary threshold of 4 percent to enter the Parliament. "There are nine parties that did not pass the parliamentary threshold because even after adding a 1 percent margin of error, they still did not reach the 4 percent mark," said LSI researcher Denny JA Adjie Alfaraby, as quoted from liputan6.com.
In detail, the parties referred to are PSI 2.71 percent; Perindo 1.38 percent; Gelora 1.25 percent; Hanura 0.96 percent; Labor Party 0.83 percent; Garuda 0.50 percent; PBB 0.47 percent; PKN 0.46 percent; Ummat Party 0.45 percent.
"PSI, which has recently been actively campaigning through ground activities, social media, and demonstrating itself as a representative party for Pak Jokowi, apparently still does not help increase its votes," he said. Meanwhile, PDIP becomes the political party with the most votes according to the quick count version. With that, PDIP is recorded to have achieved a hat-trick or won three consecutive times in the election."
