Nasriadi explained that the police have examined both of them along with three other witnesses. "We have examined a total of five people. The rector as the parent and the student as the child, hopefully we can mediate through restorative justice," he said. "If both of them refuse (to reconcile) and there is no way out, we will ask for expert testimony regarding whether the video post falls under the ITE category," he added.

In writing, Sri explained that the initial report made to the Riau Regional Police was not directly addressed to the students. Instead, it was addressed to the social media account of the Alliance of Student Plaintiffs, which according to the investigation is owned by Khariq Anhar.
