In the video uploaded by Ganjar on his personal Instagram, the meeting was held at a restaurant. Ganjar Pranowo was seen socializing with Slank personnel. Even occasionally, the former Governor of Central Java laughed with the Slank personnel.
"Lunch rock and roll," wrote Ganjar in a post on Monday, January 15, 2024. Ganjar, wearing a white shirt, was seen sitting at a dining table served with various delicious dishes, including satay and sambal.
The Slank personnel present at that time were Kaka, Bimbim, Ivan, and Ridho. Meanwhile, guitarist Abdee Negara was not seen in the meeting. Abdee is currently serving as a commissioner of PT Telkom Indonesia.
The meeting was positively welcomed by netizens, including Slankers. They perceive the meeting between Ganjar and Slank as a sign that the Presidential Election 2024 will be won by the presidential and vice-presidential candidates number 3.
That is believed by netizens because they saw the track record of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) successfully winning the presidential election for two terms after being supported by Slank. "Jokowi won the presidential election twice with Slank's support, you already know, right?" wrote @maspandam. "Usually, those supported by Slank will win," wrote @ammarygs.

This group celebrates its 40th birthday on December 26, 2023. Ganjar seems to enjoy every moment, even joining in singing when songs like "Terlalu Manis," "Virus," and "Kamu Harus Pulang" are performed by Slank.
After the concert, Ganjar expressed his nostalgia and admiration for Slank. "Oh, definitely (nostalgia)," said Ganjar, who admitted to frequently listening to Slank songs during his youth. He also didn't forget to wish the rock blues band a happy birthday.
