Dream - Sad and strange. That is the story of Goh Thai Peng's life. His life is truly crushed by misfortune. Nevertheless, Goh Thai Peng does not give up. With his frail body due to old age, he continues to live as strong as he can.

Every day, Goh Thai Peng sells tissues on the streets of Singapore. He has been living in the neighboring country for over 70 years without citizenship. In the last ten years, he has had to struggle to sell tissues to meet his daily needs.

Goh claims to be born in Perak, Malaysia. At the age of 5, he was brought by his parents to move to Singapore. According to AsiaOne, when he was 13 years old, Go applied for Singaporean citizenship. However, the country rejected him because he couldn't speak English and Malay.

When Goh Thai Peng was 25 years old, the Malaysian authorities took his passport without informing him of the reason. Therefore, Goh only has a special passport card with the note "stateless" as his identity and residence permit in Singapore.
