Dream - Two students from SMKN 4 Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Gavrila Asten and Casandra Temaluru, successfully created an internet-based clothesline. As the name suggests, Gavrila and Casandra's clothesline was created like a regular clothesline to dry clothes. The difference is that the invention of these two students is combined with internet connection.

This tool was created to facilitate housewives in drying clothes. The convenience is obtained from the assistance of internet access that helps users in controlling the drying process. Another function of this internet-accessible drying tool is that it can also set drying schedules, monitor weather conditions, and provide notifications via mobile phones when the clothes are already dry.

"\u201cIndirectly, I was demanded to think critically to complete the ideas that we have started. We also became more productive and challenged after successfully completing this product,\u201d said Gavrila, quoted on Thursday, May 16, 2024. For their innovation, Gavrila and Casandra received appreciation from the Head of the NTT Education and Culture Office, Ambrosius Kodo."

"I really appreciate that they can build a school environment as a place for children to grow, create, and innovate. We must continue to support the potentials of every student," said Ambrosius. Head of SMKN 4 Kupang, Semi Ndolu, stated that the tool is a form of freedom of thought and creativity that applies in his school."

"This serves to shape responsibility and sharpen the creativity of the students. The results created by the students are excellent and beneficial for many people," said Semi. He revealed that the development of internet-based clothes drying rack was not easy. Gavrila and Casandra have gone through a long process starting from research, prototype design, and gradual testing."
