In the video, Lil Jon is seen wearing a white shirt wrapped in a brown outer layer. He also appears to be wearing a red cap and black sunglasses. A religious leader then introduces Lil Jon, who will soon embrace Islam, to the congregation who are witnessing it.

The imam did not forget to pray for Lil Jon to be blessed by Allah, then guided the rapper to recite the two sentences of the shahada which are the main requirement to become a Muslim. "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah," said the religious leader, which was then slowly followed by the rapper.

The news was also confirmed by Lil Jon on his Instagram account. He expressed his gratitude to everyone who supported his decision. He also wrote the caption "Alhamdulillah 🤲🏽." Lil Jon was born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1972. He gained fame for his pioneering role in promoting the hip-hop subgenre in the early 2000s.
