The following is a prayer reading to welcome the celebration of Eid al-Fitr that can be recited by Sahabat Dream: Translation: O Allah, bless Muhammad and his family, the opener of sorrows and the source of blessings, the protector of immunity and the one who protects me from all evil. Do not make me suffer from poverty, nor make me dependent on others, nor make me in need of anyone. For indeed, Your forgiveness is for the oppressed, and we are among the oppressed. O Allah, forgive me for what does not harm You and grant me what does not diminish Your bounty. For indeed, You are the Most Generous, the Most Merciful, the Originator of creation, so grant me strength, support, security, health, gratitude, well-being, and righteousness. Grant me patience and truthfulness, for me and for my parents, my children, and my siblings. And from the Muslims, the Muslim men and women, and the believers, the believing men and women.

Translation: "Meaning: 'O Allah, bestow Your mercy upon Prophet Muhammad and his family, the lights of wisdom, blessings, and sources of protection. Protect me from all evil, do not punish me for my negligence and carelessness. Do not make my affairs a loss and regret. Grant me Your acceptance. Truly, Your forgiveness is for the wrongdoers, and I am among them. O my Lord, forgive me for sins that do not harm You, and grant me blessings that do not benefit You.'"

"Indeed, Your mercy is very vast, Your wisdom is beautiful. Give me spaciousness, tranquility, security, health, gratitude, protection (from all diseases), and piety. Bestow upon me patience and honesty, to my loved ones because of You. Grant me ease and do not make difficulties with it. Shower my family, my children, my siblings because of You and the parents who gave birth to me from the Muslim men, Muslim women, believers, and female believers with these blessings."

Apart from the recitation of the takbir above, there are still other best prayers to welcome the Eid al-Fitr, which consist of several versions. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has set an example for it, as explained by Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani as follows: "We have received a narration with a good chain of narrators from Jubair bin Nufair, he (Jubair bin Nufair) said: 'When the companions of the Prophet meet on the day of Eid, some of them say to each other 'Taqabbalallahu Minnaa wa Minka'".

Then there is the best prayer to welcome Eid al-Fitr, consisting of the previous prayer followed by the following sentence of prayer: "Taqabbalallaahi minnaa wa minkum taqabbal yaa kariim, wa ja'alanaallaahu wa iyyaakum minal 'aaidin wal faaiziin wal maqbuulin kullu ‘aamin wa antum bi khair." Meaning: "May Allah accept our and your (acts of worship), O Allah, the Most Noble, accept it!"
