The post from account X @herricahyadi mentions that the student mass forced the Rohingya refugees to disperse. Their actions even made women and children cry in fear. A Rohingya woman can be seen carrying a baby, appearing to be only able to cry. Children can also be heard crying amidst the shouts of the student mass that arrived.

The expulsion action by students against the Rohingya refugees took place at the temporary shelter in the Meuseuraya Aceh building (BMA). The action began when several groups of student masses from various universities in Aceh held a demonstration in front of the BMA building on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. In their speeches, the students demanded that the Rohingya refugees leave.

"However, while the student action coordinator was negotiating with the on-duty officers, the crowd behind suddenly ran and surged into the basement area where the Rohingya refugee building is located. In fact, the students appeared to forcibly pull and commit acts of violence such as throwing mineral water bottles at women and children, as well as kicking items around."

The Rohingya refugees, the majority of whom are women and children, can only cry in fear. Some of them appear to be begging for mercy. Meanwhile, the combined officers from the police and Satpol PP are unable to contain the crowd, which is said to number in the hundreds.

The Rohingya refugees were then transported using trucks that had been provided. Those who consisted of children, men, and women were taken to the office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in Aceh, which is about 1 kilometer from the BMA building. A crowd of students claimed to reject the Rohingya refugees due to their bad behavior.

"Meanwhile, the UNHCR expressed concern over the actions of students attacking shelters for vulnerable Rohingya people. The UNHCR then requested additional protection for the Rohingya. The UNHCR stated that there were 137 refugees who were eventually relocated."
