The surprise video, uploaded by their wedding host Lester Dave Verano. In his interview, John Clavecillas, the groom, explained that he chose to give cash gifts because he believes in the symbolism of wedding arrhae.

John conveyed, the money also symbolizes their commitment to marriage. For them, their marriage is not an impulsive decision, and the cash gift is a sign of genuine support and love.

As an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Australia, John works hard to earn that money. He often works up to 14 hours a day and sacrifices his sleep to support his family and save for his future. John and his wife, Jamaika, plan to invest that money in real estate as insurance for their future. Although they did not expect their marriage to become so viral, they are grateful to be able to inspire others with their actions.
