While preparing for the wedding, Yolanda and her boyfriend maintained a long-distance relationship. She was in Jember while her boyfriend was in Bali. Approaching the wedding, Yolanda's boyfriend started acting strangely. He began changing the password of his Instagram account and deleting all the photos with Yolanda on social media. Yolanda started to suspect and asked him for the reason. The man claimed that his account had been hacked.

Suddenly, this made Yolanda worried and also upset. She disagreed with the request because all the preparations had been made, starting from sending invitations, souvenirs, makeup artist, tent, and so on. Moreover, her future husband refused to show proof of his CT scan results for his illness. She suggested that he go back to Jember, but her future husband refused, fearing that his mother would find out. "I asked him to go back to Jember, I am willing to accompany him through everything and find a way for the wedding not to be postponed. He doesn't insist because he's afraid his mother will find out, even though I assured him not to tell our mothers," said Yolanda.
