"Dream - Everyone certainly hopes that their home becomes a comfortable dwelling to live in with family. Especially for a Muslim, having a harmonious family and pious children is a very big dream. Such dreams can actually be pursued by you, Dream friends. Because creating a comfortable home is an encouragement in Islam. As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Do not make your homes like graves. Indeed, the devil flees from a house where Surah Al-Baqarah is recited." (HR. Muslim)"

"As taught in Islam, when entering a house, do not forget to say greetings first. This is an etiquette that should be practiced by every Muslim. In addition, also accompany it with the recitation of dhikr when entering the house. This is what will free the house from disturbances of the devil. Thus, the house will feel comfortable and peaceful."

In the letter An-Nur verse 61, Allah SWT says: “.......When you enter houses, greet (the inhabitants) with a salutation from yourselves, a greeting blessed and good from Allah.....” Saying greetings is not only when the house has inhabitants. Even when the house is empty, one should still greet and recite dhikr. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "There are three groups that are under the protection of Allah... (The third) is when someone enters his house and greets, then he is under the protection of Allah." (HR. Abu Dawud)

"Surah Al-Baqarah is the second surah in the Quran after Surah Al-Fatihah. It is important for Dream friends to know that Al-Baqarah is a surah that is feared by the devil. When Surah Al-Baqarah is recited in a house, the devil will flee. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Do not make your houses like graves. Indeed, the devil will run away from a house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited." (HR. Muslim)"

Then, in another hadith it is also explained: "Indeed, everything has its peak, and the peak of the Quran is Surah Al-Baqarah. Truly, when Satan hears Surah Al-Baqarah being recited, he will leave the house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is being recited." (HR. Al-Hakim)

One of the etiquettes when about to eat and drink is to recite a prayer. This is so that the food and drink we consume can be beneficial for the body and be free from the disturbances of the devil. Because the presence of the devil is often unknown to us. Even at home. Therefore, accompany every activity at home with a prayer. Including the prayer before eating and drinking. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“Whenever someone enters their house and remembers Allah upon entering, and when they are about to eat their food, then the devil says, ‘There is no place for you to stay and no dinner.’ (However) if they enter the house without remembering Allah upon entering, the devil says, ‘You have found a place to stay.’ If they do not remember Allah while eating, the devil says, ‘You have found a place to stay and also dinner.’ (HR. Muslim)”

"If a Dream friend wants to feel comfortable and peaceful living in the house, then fill the house with the recitation of the Quran. This will make it difficult for demons to enter the house. In fact, with the recitation of the Quran, the house will always be protected by angels. As explained in the following hadith:"

“There was a man reading the Al Kahfi letter while beside him was a horse tied with two ropes. Then the man was enveloped by clouds that approached and got closer. Until his horse ran away because it was startled. In the morning, he went to the Messenger of Allah and narrated the incident he experienced. The Messenger of Allah said, “That is as sakinah that descends with the Al Qur’an.” (HR. Bukhari)

The last tip is to perform sunnah prayers at home. For example, the dhuha and tahajud prayers. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “It is essential for you to pray in your homes, for the best prayer of a person is in his home, except for the obligatory prayers.” (HR.
