Dream - Everyone certainly hopes that their home becomes a comfortable place to live with their family. Especially for a Muslim, having a harmonious family and righteous children is a very big dream. Such a dream can actually be pursued, my friend. Because creating a comfortable home is recommended in Islam. As the saying of the Prophet Muhammad, "Do not make your home like a grave. Indeed, Satan flees from a house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited." (Narrated by Muslim)

As taught in Islam, when entering a house, do not forget to say greetings first. This is an etiquette that should be done by every Muslim. In addition, accompany it with reciting remembrance (dzikir) when entering the house. This is what will free the house from the disturbance of demons. So that the house feels comfortable and peaceful.

In the letter of An-Nur verse 61, Allah SWT says: ".......When you enter houses, greet yourselves (the inhabitants) with peace, a greeting from Allah, blessed and good....." Greeting with peace is not only when there are inhabitants in the house. But even when the house is empty, still greet with peace and recite remembrance. The Prophet Muhammad said: "There are three groups of people who are under the protection of Allah... (The third) is someone who enters his house by greeting with peace, so he is under the protection of Allah." (Narrated by Abu Dawud)

Surat Al-Baqarah is the second surah in the Quran after Surah Al-Fatihah. It is important for Dream friends to know that Al-Baqarah is a surah that is feared by the devil. When a house is recited with Surah Al-Baqarah, then the devil will flee. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: 'Do not make your houses like graves. Indeed, Satan will flee from a house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited.' (Narrated by Muslim)

Then, in another hadith it is also explained: "Indeed, everything has its peak, and the peak of the Quran is the Surah Al-Baqarah. Indeed, when the devil hears the recitation of Surah Al-Baqarah, he will leave the house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited." (HR. Al-Hakim)

One of the manners when eating and drinking is to recite a prayer. This is so that the food and drink we consume can be beneficial for our body and protected from the interference of demons. Because the presence of demons is often unknown to us. Even at home. Therefore, accompany every activity at home with a prayer. Including a prayer when eating and drinking. The Prophet Muhammad said:

"\u201cWhen someone enters their house and they remember Allah upon entering, and when they are about to eat their food, then the devil says, \u201cThere is no place to stay for you and there is no dinner.\u201d (However) if they enter the house without remembering Allah upon entering, the devil says, \u201cYou have found a place to stay.\u201d If they do not remember Allah when eating, the devil says, \u201cYou have found a place to stay and have dinner.\u201d (HR. Muslim)"

"If Dream's friends want to feel comfortable and peaceful living inside a house, then fill the house with recitation of the Quran. This will make it difficult for the devil to enter the house. In fact, reciting the Quran will always protect the house with angels. As explained in the following hadith: "

"There was a man reading Surah Al-Kahf while beside him there was a horse tied with two ropes. Then, the man was enveloped by a cloud that came closer and closer. Until the horse ran away in surprise. In the morning, he went to see the Prophet Muhammad and recounted the incident that happened to him. The Prophet Muhammad said, 'That was the tranquility (as-sakinah) that descended with the Qur'an.' (Narrated by Bukhari)"

The last tip is to establish voluntary prayers at home. For example, the Duha prayer and the Tahajjud prayer. The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, "It is recommended for you to perform prayers in your homes, as the best prayer of a person is performed in their own home, except for the obligatory prayers."
