Dream - Yusril Ihza Mahendra openly discusses the honor of being a member of Prabowo-Gibran's Legal Team in the dispute over the 2024 Presidential Election at the Constitutional Court (MK). Yusril himself was appointed by Prabowo Subianto as the head of the legal team. After the MK read its verdict on April 22, 2024, the public became curious about the honor received by Yusril.
Furthermore, Yusril has twice served as the chairman of the legal team for the Presidential Election dispute. Previously, as the Chairman of the PPP, he was the Chairman of the Legal Team for Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin in the 2019 Presidential Election dispute.
At that time, Yusril fought against the lawsuit of presidential and vice-presidential candidates Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno. Yusril's involvement as Prabowo-Gibran's legal team was revealed when a netizen mocked him on Instagram.

In one of the posts, Yusril uploaded a photo of him and his wife on vacation in Japan. At that moment, a netizen mocked him for using the legal team's honor money from Prabowo-Gibran. "This is the MK's honor, huh," said @segeir_1025.
Appointed Prabowo
"In 2019 and 2024, both became defense team leaders, with zero rupiah honorarium," Yusril answered. Prabowo Subianto appointed Yusril Ihza Mahendra as the head of the legal team to face the 2024 presidential dispute at the Constitutional Court (MK)."
"So the one who will be included is decided by Mr. Prabowo himself. So we also discussed it with Mr. Otto and Mr. OC Kaligis," said Yusril, March 14, 2024. Yusril revealed that 35 other lawyers are also ready to assist the Prabowo-Gibran pair in facing the presidential election dispute at the Constitutional Court later. He said that the names of these lawyers were proposed by the parties affiliated with the Indonesian Forward Coalition (KIM)."
