Dream - A natural phenomenon in the mountains of Taiwan has caused a stir among tourists. This astonishing 'thousand-legged river' phenomenon captivates visitors to Hsüeh-Pa National Park.
According to Oddity Central, the phenomenon occurred on April 27, when a group of tourists was enjoying their journey in the national park. While on the way, they saw something unusual. Yang Xiaozhong, an experienced tour guide, noticed that the road they usually passed through had been blocked by something resembling fallen leaves.
However, a few moments later he realized that the leaves were actually moving. After examining closer, it turned out that what was thought to be falling leaves were actually thousands of millipedes walking in the same direction.
In large numbers, they move like a living river, creating an extraordinary sight. Immediately, someone takes out their phone and records the incident. Because, they have never seen such a phenomenon before in years of working in the national park. They describe the size of the millipedes to be as wide as four meters and seemingly stretching over 50 meters.
Tourists who witness it feel ticklish and even panic, so they choose to walk on a safer path. They avoid direct contact with the centipede's legs.
This phenomenon has sparked speculation among people, with some considering it as a sign of upcoming natural disasters. When the video about the 'Thousand Legs River' went viral on social media, many people even called the national park staff to seek explanation. Some associate the behavior of animals with the possibility of an impending earthquake.
Because, many believe that animals have special senses in predicting natural events. Apparently, this video of the migration of thousand-legged creatures has a significant impact on the visitors.
At the end, Hsueh-Pa National Park had to issue an apology statement for causing a commotion. The National Park also assures that the thousand-legged river is a natural phenomenon. This natural phenomenon is likely caused by environmental or weather changes. The park also apologizes for its employees uploading a video that caused a lot of panic, and promises to avoid similar situations in the future. Report: Khaira Amaliya.
